2.Information that we collect from you as a registered user (i.e. member/subscriber/fundraiser) of this website.
If you register on this website, we will collect your name, title, email address, postal address, contact numbers (where you have agreed to provide it) and your password. We may also obtain sensitive personal data about you if you volunteer it during the completion of your profile form. By registering as a member on this website, you will be consenting to us processing your personal information (including sensitive personal data where you have volunteered it) for the purpose of contributing to the site and to Cancer Connections. We will use and process your personal data to enable your nominated charity to receive information about you. We will not pass on any personal data to any other third party other than HM Revenue & Customs (in respect of any gift aid donation) unless you give us your express consent to do so.
3.Information we collect from you when you make a donation using this website.
If you make a donation or pledge using this website, we collect your full name, your credit or debit card details (including card information) and your billing address. We will only use your card details for processing your donation via our payment partner. If you have made a gift aid declaration, we will ensure that this is passed to the HM Revenue and Customs for the purpose of reclaiming tax on behalf of the recipient charity. Your gift aid declaration includes your name and home address, which may be different from your billing address, along with the confirmation that you are paying sufficient amount of tax for the current tax year. We will not pass on your name or address to any other individual or organisation unless you expressly give us your consent to do so. On making a donation using this website you are giving us your consent to collect and process your personal data for the purpose of processing your donation.
4. Keeping you data Secure
We employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will retain your information for a reasonable period as long as the law requires.
5. Information about other individuals
If you give us information on the behalf of someone else, you confirm that that other person has appointed you to act on his/her behalf and has agreed that you can:
