Full of Christmas spirit , South Tyneside Mayor John Anglin led Cancer Connections’ annual Boxing Day Dip from a snow covered beach into the icy waves of the North Sea. Over 100 dippers followed his example.
We are most grateful for their well earned sponsorship that raised and amazing £9,841. Mayor Anglin’s personal sponsorship has contributed to this year’s mayoral appeal that will support the South Tyneside children’s charity “Two by Two” and South Tyneside Hospital’s Stroke Unit as well as Cancer Connections.
