The November Ball to be an annual event. On Saturday 8th November 170 guests enjoyed a glittering evening of dinner, music and a charity auction at Hedworth Hall.
Our special guests included the Mayor of South Tyneside, Alex Donaldson, and his wife Brenda, and Mrs Chris Knighton from the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund. The persuasive auctioneer was Ms Karen Pattison, Lead Cancer Nurse at South Tyneside Hospital. The evening, organised by Deborah Roberts and volunteers from Cancer Connections raised £4,500 for the charity – and was so popular that it will become an annual event.
