As you all may be aware Cancer Connections now only need £50,000 to move into our dream bungalow to support cancer patients, family’s and carers. The Shields Gazette have launched an Appeal called Quids In, if yousearch on their websidte for “Quids in” or “Cancer Connections” you will read some of the work we have been doing and see who has been supporting the charity.
We have got to hit this target by 1st April 2010 when the appeal finishes. Whilst Action Stations has been a great starting point for our charity we have run out of space, at times we struggle to find seats for visitors. They need comfort and space and privacy.
The bungalow will also have a childrens area in it and we are finding that more familys choose to come in together.
