Architect beats world record for Cancer Connections

Gary (AKA Geordie Pantsman)

Not only has Whitburn architect Gary Craig generously offered to oversee the refurbishment of Cancer Connections’ new home, he has donated £1500 to the charity, this being half of the cash raised by  sponsorship of his recent world record attempt as “Geordie Pantsman”.

Donning 211 pairs of underpants in the South Shields  nightclub Dusk on April Fools’ night he smashed the previous Guinness world record  set recently by an Australian.

Cancer Connections is very grateful  for Gary’s professional help and his strenuous efforts. We are delighted to share the proceeds from the event with St Simon’s Drop-In Centre For The Unemployed.

You can see the record breaking stunt on the Shields Gazette website.
